DRAFT TENANT SELECTION PLAN AND LEASE FOR CONCORD AT SHERIDAN, 6418 N. SHERIDAN

The Draft Tenant Selection Plan (TSP), Lease, and other documents that will apply to resident occupancy at Concord at Sheridan Apartments, a future mixed-income development, are available for review and comments. 

Concord at Sheridan is a private, mixed income, rental housing development located at 6418 N Sheridan Road in the Rogers Park community area of Chicago, Illinois. Sixty-five (65) units within this development will be reserved for eligible 10/1/1999 public housing residents who have yet to satisfy their right of return under the Relocation Rights Contract and eligible public housing applicants. The Chicago Housing Authority (CHA), to bring housing opportunities to the North Side of Chicago, has worked in consultation with the developer to draft a TSP and Lease for use at the private development to be known as Concord at Sheridan.

The public comment period for the Concord at Sheridan Apartments begins March 17, 2017 (8 a.m.) and ends April 17, 2017 (5 p.m.). While CHA encourages and welcomes all residents and the community-at-large to review the proposed updates to the TSP and attend the hearing, you are not required to attend the public comment hearing in order to submit comments. The date, time, and location of the public comment hearing is as follows:

  • March 29, 2017, 6:00pm: CHA Headquarters, 60 E Van Buren St

Public housing residents and the public may submit oral and written comments on the Draft TSP, Lease, and other documents during the public comment period. All comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on April 17, 2017.

Copies of the Draft TSP, Lease, & other documents will be available beginning March 17, 2017 until April 17, 2017 (5 p.m.) at the following locations:

The Chicago Housing Authority (CHA), the developer, and the Washington Park Working Group worked in consultation to develop a draft TSP and Lease for use at the new mixed-income development.

The 30-day public comment period will be held for CHA to receive oral and written comments on March 21 (8 a.m.) and ends April 20, 2017 (5 p.m.). While CHA encourages and welcomes all residents and the community-at-large to review the proposed updates to the TSP and attend the hearing, you are not required to attend the public comment hearing in order to submit comments.
