Built in 1963, Lake Parc Place is the only remaining building that was part of the Lake Michigan High-rises, which were demolished as part as the Plan for Transformation. As of 2004, all 300 units of Lake Parc Place have been completely renovated. Neighborhood amenities include University of Chicago's Donoghue School, Ellis Park, Madden Park, Lake Michigan and the mixed-income development Lake Park Crescent.
Eligibility
Only residents who were living in CHA developments as of October 1, 1999, and have remained lease-compliant are eligible to live at this property. The CHA is currently not accepting new applicants at any of its family properties. Eligible CHA relocatees should contact their relocation manager for more information.
