Affordable Child Care Access

CHA contracts with Illinois Action for Children (IAFC), to provide enhanced child care resource and referral services for CHA families.  IAFC maintains an extensive database of over 7,000 child care and early education programs.   IAFC conducts home visits to families and provides individualized referrals to child care resources within communities surrounding CHA, as well as supporting parents in order to improve parenting skills and develop young children's language and literacy.
