DESCRIPTION

The Quality Assurance Monitor is responsible for developing and monitoring procedures to ensure FamilyWorks contractors are effectively implementing and managing the FamilyWorks program in accordance with the contract and program guidelines.  Will also make recommendations to improve the quality of services provided by the program. Reports to the CHA Director of FamilyWorks. Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • ŸMaintains full understanding of contract requirements, program procedures, program resources, and intended outcomes.
  • ŸDetermines the monitoring and evaluation process and timeline; schedules and completes site visits and audits of program files and related documentation.
  • ŸRegularly reviews contractor performance reports to identify potential areas to be included in monitoring & evaluation process; collaborates with FamilyWorks Planning Analyst to review existing data to ensure maximum service delivery and to provide solutions to problems when necessary.
  • ŸIn conjunction with other QA monitors and their supervisor, participates in design of a consistent orientation and training curriculum which familiarizes CHA contractors with the monitoring and evaluation process and procedures and CHA contract requirements.
  • ŸAnalyzes results of the monitoring and evaluation process and reviews and conducts close-out meetings at the conclusion of monitoring process and field visits to discuss initial findings and next steps.
  • ŸIn coordination with the FamilyWorks Director and designated CHA FamilyWorks staff, drafts corrective action plans as needed.
  • ŸTracks corrective action plan progress and conducts follow up field visits as needed to ensure implementation of the plan and or to provide follow up and/or technical assistance. 
  • ŸParticipates in planning for client satisfaction surveys.

 

REQUIREMENTS 

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business/Public Administration, Sociology or a related field and two to three years of relevant experience.  Experience in monitoring, accounting or bookkeeping preferred.  Must possess excellent verbal, written, and customer relation skills. Effective problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to exercise objective judgment, discretion and work on multiple initiatives simultaneously. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. The ideal candidate will possess a quick learning curve, professional office demeanor, a sense of urgency and the ability to achieve successful project outcomes. For periodic work in the field, candidates must possess a valid State of Illinois Driver’s License.
