Policies Out for Public Comment

CHA regularly reviews its policies, procedures and plans to remain compliant with federal, state and local regulations. Whenever revisions or policy changes are needed, CHA holds a public comment period that gives residents, applicants and the general public an opportunity to review the proposed policy changes and provide oral and written feedback to CHA before changes are passed by the CHA Board.

Proposed Revisions to Housing Choice Voucher Program Administrative Plan

CHA originally scheduled a 30-day public comment period for the Draft FY2010 Housing Choice Voucher Program Administrative Plan from June 3, 2010 through July 2, 2010. 

The public comment period was extended an additional 21 days through July 23, 2010.

The HCV Administrative Plan covers CHA polices on selection and admission of applicants, family obligations, issuing or denying vouchers, inspections and implementation of the project-based voucher program.
