The Chicago Housing Authority

Office of the Ombudsman

Purpose

CHA established the Office of the Ombudsman to address the concerns of public housing residents in mixed-income communities.  The Ombudsman serves as a liaison between residents and CHA leadership, while providing a forum for residents to learn about what each mixed-income community offers.

The Ombudsman will hold at least two semi-annual meetings for public housing residents renting in mixed-income developments in the north, south and west/central regions.  Comments will be collected, responded to and posted for download.
