Plans, Reports & Policies
In accordance with the Moving To Work (MTW) Agreement regulated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), CHA submits an MTW Annual Plan and Report to HUD. The purpose of the MTW Annual Plan is to identify and outline CHA’s goals and activities for the upcoming fiscal year, while the MTW Annual Report is used to compare these goals to the corresponding year’s actual performance. Both documents provide information necessary for HUD to assess CHA’s performance, in both regular operations and in activities authorized by the MTW program. They also act as measuring tools for the public to chart CHA’s progress toward completion of the Plan for Transformation.
The Annual Plan is prepared in the third quarter of the preceding year, drafted for a 30-day public comment period, presented to the CHA Board of Commissioners for approval and subsequently submitted to HUD. The FY2010 MTW Annual Plan and FY2009 have been submitted to HUD, and are available for viewing below, as well as annual plans and reports from previous years.
