Proposed Policies Out for Public Comment

CHA regularly reviews its policies, procedures and plans to remain compliant with federal, state and local regulations. Whenever revisions or policy changes are needed, CHA holds a public comment period that gives residents, applicants and the general public an opportunity to review the proposed policy changes and provide oral and written feedback to CHA before changes are passed by the CHA Board.


PROPOSED FY2013 MOVING TO WORK ANNUAL PLAN AMENDMENT

ATTENTION ALL PUBLIC HOUSING RESIDENTS AND HCV PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS!

The Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) is in the process of drafting the Proposed FY2013 Moving to Work Annual Plan Amendment.  CHA anticipates additional disposition and scattered site demolition activity in FY2013.  

Public comment period extended to July 5th, 2013 (5:00 pm)
The 30-day public comment period begins May 28 (8 a.m.) and ends June 27, 2013 (5 p.m.).

 

While CHA encourages and welcomes all residents, program participants, and the community-at-large to review the Proposed FY2013 MTW Annual Plan Amendment and attend the hearing, you are not required to attend the public comment hearing in order to submit comments on the Proposed FY2013 MTW Annual Plan Amendment.  The date, time, and location of the public comment hearing are as follows:

All comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on July 5, 2013.  Copies of the Proposed FY2013 MTW Annual Plan Amendment will be available from May 28 (8 a.m.) until July 5, 2013 (5 p.m.) at the following locations:

  • CHA and HCV Administrative Offices - 60 E. Van Buren St;
  • Central Advisory Council Office (243 E. 32nd St);
  • HCV Regional Offices (10 W. 35th St and 2750 W. Roosevelt Rd); and
  • Erie Neighborhood House (Latino Site Offices) 1347 W. Erie St and 4225 W. 25th St.
