PBRA Application Coordinator

Position Description: Application Coordinator for Property Based Rental Assistance reports to the Director of Rental Assistance and Administration and is responsible for assisting in tracking and monitoring applications, responses, evaluation status processing time for the program. The Application Coordinator will display a sense of leadership in developing tools to measure the success of various components of the program and application process.
DESCRIPTION
- Assist staff with program coordination; tracking, compliance and reporting of application process for Property Based Rental Assistance.
- Develop tools for tracking, monitoring and reporting on competitive application compliance, application volume, evaluation process time, and recommendation status of applications for the program.
- Develop tools for tracking, monitoring and reporting of contracts under the program. Tracking and monitoring of term of contracts, financial billings, etc.
- Assist Sr. Project Manager of PBRA as needed to ensure timely response to applicant and other government agency questions concerning program requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 2 years college-level coursework is required. Knowledge of affordable housing is a plus but not mandatory. Experience with MS Access, PowerPoint and Excel is strongly preferred. Previous experience with Yardi Software and affordable housing finance and compliance is strongly preferred. Training may be provided by the CHA but applicant must pass written exam following training. Candidate must have strong analytical skills and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
