We are pleased to announce our vendors now have access to the new e-Procurement system called BuySpeed Online for improved services using secured Internet access. These services will allow you to:

1. Register online if you are a new vendor.

2. Update and maintain current vendor information.

3. Review and download CHA’s bid opportunities directly to your desktop computer.

These on-line services will help us better communicate with you about our on-going, service and commodity needs. All firms interested in bidding on CHA business will be required to register. Firms may register at any time, including when submitting a bid or proposal. Registration will only be required once.

3. “Computer Kiosks” located in the Procurement and Contracts Department to allow those vendors without Internet access, equal opportunity to review and download bid opportunities and register as a vendor. Computer Kiosks will be monitored by Procurement personnel to assist you with any questions. No appointment necessary.

We are confident that the simplicity of the tool we are about to offer will provide an efficient, and pleasant means of doing business with the CHA. An important final note: The Department of Procurement and Contracts will not eliminate its current manual processes for announcing bids and receiving responses. We are committed to assessing the effectiveness of the new tool and our approach to helping you use it, prior to relying solely on the on-line product.
