For the 26th year in a row, the Chicago Housing Authority hosted its annual
Holiday Gala that brings together senior citizens from all over the city to
celebrate the holidays. This year’s event took place in the Grand Ballroom of
the Hyatt Regency Hotel downtown.

On December 2nd, 2010 1WORLD Sports hosted 60 amazing kids from the Chicago Housing Authority who came to Johnny's Icehouse in Chicago to learn 1WORLD Sports' Responsibilities of an Athlete and to ice skate for the very first time. The kids were taught on-ice skills by the coaches from the Chicago Blackhawks. When Duncan Keith showed up to skate with the kids, the day became magical.
