April Is Financial Literacy Month: CHA Supports Residents in Building Economic Futures

In honor of Financial Literacy Month, CHA is highlighting the many ways it helps residents build brighter economic futures. Through programs like LevelUp, the Workforce Opportunity Resource Center (WORC), Summer Youth Employment, and HOME (Home Ownership Made Easy), thousands of residents are achieving new milestones each year. In 2024 alone:
- 80 - Residents graduated from LevelUp, each earning an average payout of over $7,000
- 84 - Residents became homeowners through Choose to Own and Down Payment Assistance
- 504 - Residents secured new or improved employment through WORC
- 2,240 - Youth were placed in paid summer job opportunities
