RESOURCES TO SUPPORT YOU IN NAVIGATING COVID-19
Our partners at Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership (CCWP) have put together several resources to assist in connecting our community members to services and supports in light of coronavirus (COVID-19). They can be found here.
AFFORDABLE CHILD CARE ACCESS
CHA believes that every child deserves a strong foundation in life. Residents can access Head Start, Early Head Start and child care services through the Department of Family and Support Services. Visit the Chicago Department of Family & Support Services website for more information to learn more about the resources available, or call Illinois Action for Children at (312) 823-1258.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT
Public Housing residents seeking services related to substance abuse treatment should contact their FamilyWorks provider. For additional resources, visit the Illinois Department of Human Services website.
ELECTRIC SUPPLIER CHOICE
Chicagoans have a choice about which company will supply their electricity. Click below for a flyer created by the Citizens Utility Board (CUB), in collaboration with CHA, explaining Electric Choice and providing information and questions to ask an Electric Supplier to help you make the best choice for you and your family (click below for the same flyer in Spanish). For more information visit CUB’s website.
