Elizabeth Davis Apartments is a 149-unit senior building in Chicago's Humboldt Park community. It was built in 1964 and is named in honor of Elizabeth Davis, an activist and teacher who advocated in the early 20th century for the rights of African-Americans and for women's right to vote.

Irene McCoy Gaines Apartments is a 151-unit senior building in Chicago's East Garfield Park community. It is named in honor of Irene McCoy Gaines, who was a social worker and civil rights activist as well as the first African-American woman to run for a seat in the Illinois Legislature in 1940.
