Support CHA College Students With the Help of NBC-5 Anchor Evrod Cassimy

Evrod Cassimy is an Emmy-nominated news anchor for NBC-Chicago and a noted philanthropist. But did you know that he is also a talented singer/songwriter and has been a huge supporter of CHA’s Springboard to Success program for the last several years?
With the release of his new album Mister Cassimy, he continues his partnership with CHA’s S2S program by donating the proceeds from all album sales to S2S to directly support educational opportunities for youth across Chicago’s public housing communities.
Mister Cassimy was released August 22 on all major digital platforms and EvrodCassimy.com. The album title honors Cassimy’s parents: Dr. Glenn Cassimy, a former CPS teacher, principal, and superintendent, and Avril Cecily Parris Cassimy, a longtime Rockford educator.
"‘Mr. Cassimy’ is what students called my father in school,” said Evrod, “I want listeners to remember every time they listen to this album that they're helping a child in the classroom take their education to the next level.”
