Working towards a green and healthy home for every CHA resident by improving environmental health, wellbeing, and community resilience.

The Healthy Homes Division is dedicated to proactively addressing environmental health issues by eliminating hazards and promoting healthier living conditions for CHA residents and communities. The Healthy Homes Division works to ensure CHA homes are safe, preserved, and sustainable for future generations by removing environmental hazards, promoting energy-efficiency, and conducting community outreach on environmental health and wellbeing.

  • PEHSU is a source of medical information and advice on the influence of environmental exposures on children’s health. They work with physicians, parents, schools, community groups, and public health agencies to address children’s environmental health.

Report a Concern

Report environmental health hazards (mold/moisture, suspected lead-based paint or other lead hazards, asthma and allergy exacerbation, pest/pesticide issues, indoor smoking, water quality, etc.) to healthy_homes@thecha.org.
