Park Boulevard Phase IIB Helps Build Vibrant Communities

As part of CHA’s Plan Forward strategy to provide quality housing opportunities and build strong, vibrant communities, Park Boulevard Phase IIB’s mixed-income, mixed-used development continues the revitalization of the Bronzeville community with 108 quality, mixed-income housing and ground floor retail opportunities along State Street. Despite one of the toughest winters in 2014 of past years, construction completion and unit delivery are on track for early spring of 2015.

Phase IIB represents the fourth overall development phase of the award-winning Stateway Master Redevelopment Plan. This development is planned to expand the successful retail neighborhood area, which began with the earlier Park Boulevard Phase IB that includes the first Starbucks coffeehouse in the Chicago mid-South area at 35th and State Street.
