Caroline Hedger Apartments is a 22-story, 436 unit Senior building in Edgewater.

The building is named after Dr. Caroline Hedger who championed the rights and health concerns of workers in Chicago's meatpacking industry during the 1920's. Caroline Hedger Apartments is home to the most diverse population of residents in the entire CHA senior portfolio. It is an age-restricted, high-rise elevator building with 436 studio and one bedroom homes. The building was formerly known as Sheridan and Devon Apartments and was built in1969.
