CHA Community Alliance

Community Alliance Logos V2

The Chicago Housing Authority Community Alliance is a partnership with LUCHA and Spanish Coalition for Housing to increase awareness of CHA’s programs and activities across the Chicagoland area.

Each month, our partners host a series of workshops specifically tailored toward seniors, property managers/owners, individuals interested in learning more about Scattered Sites program and Section 3 businesses and/or Job seekers and CHA applicants.  The focus of these workshops is to educate the community on the various CHA programs and activities and to provide updates on industry-related topics. Since its inception in 2016, CHA Community Partners have facilitated 1,330 workshops reaching over 11,000 individuals. Over 65% percent of those individuals belong to underrepresented populations. To learn more, please see below:

You may sign up for as many workshops as you wish.  However, registration is on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Once the workshop has reached capacity, registration will be closed. To sign up, please click here

CHA is excited to offer these free education workshops and we hope to see you there!

Our partners also provide support to CHA for the new Site Based Waitlist. If you are interested in applying for housing or are an existing applicant seeking to update your information, please attend any of the upcoming Waitlist and Admissions workshops or visit an office near you.

If English is not your primary language, do not hesitate to seek assistance. Erie Neighborhood House and Spanish Coalition for Housing provide services in various languages including but not limited to Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Polish and Spanish.
